Animals Have Taken Over Social Media [INFOGRAPHIC]

If you’ve spent even just a few minutes browsing Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, or Instagram, you’ve undoubtedly seen an image of a cat with a clever caption.

Or a Pomeranian. Or a llama.

There is even, God help us, a social network just for cats.

Depending on your stance towards animals, and your general attitude towards cuteness overload (yep, there’s a Twitter account called @CuteOverload), you might enjoy Grumpy Cat or find him an irritant in your daily social media activities.

Regardless, it’s an undeniable truth that animals have taken over social media. Check out the infographic below, created by Peter Brown on behalf of Edgemere equestrian supplies shop, for a look at just how strong a stake animals have claimed in our social networks.
