IBM’s Social Sentiment Index, which aggregates public opinion from Twitter, blogs, message forums, and other social media channels, reveals that 67% of commuters generate social media buzz about their trip to or from work.
Whether tweeting about train delays or posting a Facebook photo of a dangerous pothole, commuters are plugged in and city governments would do well to pay attention.
