71 percent of companies use social media for content marketing, with more than half (53 percent) viewing it as the most effective strategy for their business, reveals a new study.
Bite (with Redshift Research) polled brands about their content marketing setup, and found that 68 percent of business to consumer (B2C) and 53 percent of business to business (B2B) brands have a dedicated budget for content marketing, with about one-third (31 percent) saying that it was essential for their business.
Driving sales, customer retention and customer loyalty were seen as the key benefits.
