Instagram is telling Twitter to take a hike and soon you won’t be able to seamlessly post Instagram’s pics directly to Twitter anymore.
But you will still be able to post them to Twitter if you use one of these workarounds.
The New York Times shared an interesting post on how to bypass Instagrams’s Twitter barrier – and we’re going to excerpt and add to it here.
First up – using your phone’s camera roll: “To tweet, go to the Camera Roll on your phone, and you will see the Instagram photo. If you select the image, you can now share it on Twitter. For iOS users, the best way to do this is to hit the arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen and then select Twitter. This will automatically embed the picture in your messages.”
Next – sharing on Twitter via other connected Instagram apps. You have a few choices here: Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr and Foursquare.
If you post Instagram pics to your Facebook page and have your Instagram settings (on Facebook) set to public:
And if you share your public Facebook posts directly with Twitter – your Instagram pics will post to Twitter too!
