Share Gratitude For Veterans On Twitter With #HT4H

Want to show your gratitude for veterans outside of the one day they’re officially recognized this month?

Join Raytheon’s Hashtag4Heroes effort “and send messages of support through Twitter using the #HT4H hashtag.”

In May we told you about the Hashtags4Heroes effort, and how participants’ unused Twitter characters were being used to raise awareness and advocacy for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and the servicemen and women it supports.

Well, Raytheon brings you another chance to show your support, by encouraging Americans to share remembrances and expressions of gratitude for veterans by using the hashtag #HT4H on Veterans Day and throughout the month of November.

Expressions of gratitude and remembrances will be streamed and profiles will be posted on www.hashtags4heroes.com to highlight service personnel and organizations working to empower the nation’s veterans.

“Our employees believe deeply in our corporate mission to protect our servicemen and women and bring them home safely,” said Pamela Erickson, Raytheon’s vice president of Community Relations. “On Veterans Day, we honor those who have defended our freedom at home and around the world. Hashtags4Heroes is one small way to help bring citizens together to express their deep appreciation.”

Raytheon is also hosting Veterans Day recognition events across the country during November. Check out the Hashtags4Heroes site for more information.

And please show your support for this effort on Twitter.
