Did you know that 60 percent of users have purchased from a small to medium-sized business (SMB) because of something they’ve seen on Twitter?
Bigcommerce teamed up with Twitter to look at how SMBs with an online retail presence can use Twitter to raise awareness and drive value. The study discovered that the average user is connected to about 21 SMBs, with 73 percent feeling better about that brand after following them and reading their tweets.
86 percent plan to make a future purchase after following an SMB, and 90 percent of users who received a reply from an SMB on Twitter had a positive experience.
The survey also found that brands in the jewellery, sports and B2B sectors have a higher than average ROI when compared to other businesses.
