84 percent of 18-29 year-olds in the United States had an account on Facebook through Q1 2014, compared to just 40 percent who used Twitter.
Google+ took second place in the study, with a 44 percent share, with Instagram (36 percent), Pinterest (33 percent) and Snapchat (23 percent) also registering notable metrics.
WhatsApp (9 percent) and Foursquare (6 percent) rounded out the bottom end of the poll.
