Did you know that more than half (54 percent) of recruiters use Twitter to discover job talent, and that 15 percent have successful made a hire using everyone’s favourite micro-blogging social network?
Pretty impressive, but Twitter’s numbers lag significantly behind the two big players in social recruitment, placing it a distant third. Facebook ranks number two, and is used by 66 percent of recruiters (26 percent of whom have used Facebook to make a hire), but it’s LinkedIn, which is in use by more than nine in ten recruitment agencies, 89 percent of whom have used the business social platform to make a hire, which is in a league of its own.
