Did you know that 78 percent of companies have a dedicated social media team, up from 67 percent two years ago?
Social media a business tool has matured dramatically over the last few years, with the average team having grown to more than 15 people in 2013, with dedicated social media staff across a number of different departments, including marketing, PR and customer support.
However, only 17 percent of companies identify their social media policy as mature, with slightly more than half saying that their executives are aligned with the firm’s social strategy.
