Twitter’s advertising revenue is on track to exceed $1 billion in 2014, up from $594.9 million last year, with further accelerated income from ads envisaged through 2016, reports eMarketer.
Twitter should earn $1.095 billion in ad revenue this year, an increase of more than 84 percent from 2013, which beats earlier estimations. And while revenue growth will slow over the next two years, it’s still impressive, with $1.692 billion forecast in 2015 (+54.6 percent) and $2.444 billion in 2016 (+44.4 percent).
