Twitter announced Monday that, at last, users will be able to sync their DMs across all devices.
Read on for the rest of the features included in the Twitter 5.8 app update.
With the updated Twitter app, you can sync DMs across Android, iOS, Mac, the web, Twitter’s mobile site, and TweetDeck. That means no more having to mark DMs as read multiple times depending on where you’re reading each message.
The new Twitter app also includes enhanced mobile search – when you search for people on Twitter while using Android or iOS, you’ll now be able to see their full bio and, with one swipe to the left, related accounts – and a Connect tab on Twitter for Mac, which acts just as the Twitter.com Connect does.
On the updated Twitter for iPhone, it’ll be easier to reply to tweets thanks to a built-in tweet composer that appears when you tap to see details.
The Twitter app also supports six additional languages: Danish, Filipino, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and Thai.
