Twitter’s ‘New Nest’ Is Better Labeled An Aviary

The Twitter blog tells us that the flock has found a new home in downtown San Francisco, calling their new abode their “new nest.”

But by our standards, there’s nothing small, cozy or plain about this tony new address – nothing to make it seem very nest-like, so we’re calling it Twitter’s new aviary. We think you’ll agree.

Twitter’s new digs can be found at Market Square in San Francisco. Here’s a picture of the beautiful building:

The building is located in the center of, well, everything:

Adjacent to more than 4,000 new or planned residential units, Market Square’s direct connection to SOMA’s commercial district, Hayes Valley’s restaurants and shops, and Civic Center attractions gives tenants the best of the city in one convenient location, with a variety of mass transit options steps away, including a Trolly and Light Rail stop directly at the building entrance.

Twitter looks forward to “renewing [this] historic — and newly promising — area.” It will be interesting to see what shape this ‘renewal’ takes in the coming months. We’ll keep you posted!

What do you think of the new Twitter HQ?
