94 percent of social networkers in the U.S., United Kingdom and Brazil are using Facebook whilst watching matches during the 2014 World Cup, compared to 59 percent who are using Twitter, reports GlobalWebIndex.
Google+ and Instagram are also seeing moderate use during games, as is WhatsApp, with the latter being used by 28 percent in the UK and just 12 percent in the U.S. However, in Brazil, 57 percent are using WhatsApp, more than every other service except for Facebook.
