The Android version of Google Translate got a little better today. In additioon to new support for Esperanto, the app also got a new simplified theme which replaced the previous web-style color scheme. Google also added support for a bunch more languages in the text to speech option.

This app might not be quite the equal of its browser based cousin but it’s still quite useful. It supports translation to and from a a surprising number of languages (64). You can even say the words you need translated in any of 17 languages and you can have the translated output read out loud in any of 40 languages.
