TheRecApp.com has created an infographic called, “Why Your Next Album Could Be an App,” which explores how apps could potentially be used as a new way for musicians to distribute music.

The graphic points out that 33.5 percent of people are listening to music on an iPhone, iPod or MP3 player and that music streaming apps are on the rise.
