The Sun has finally set: After weeks of conjecture and rumors, the New York Sun is finally dead. The right-wing paper that Mayor Bloomberg called "smart, thoughtful, provocative" printed its last issue today. Editor Seth Lipsky tried to save it until the bitter end, but yesterday's failed Wall Street bailout and subsequent stock market meltdown was the final straw for a paper that Portfolio's Jeff Bercovici hears was losing more than a million dollars a month...
