Mediabistro: What kinds of books do you work on/are you looking for? Julia Cheiffetz: I'm all over the map, which suits me just fine: narrative nonfiction, especially books with a political (left leaning) or feminist edge, poetry, foodie stuff, quirky history, and, of course, literary fiction. Right now I'm editing a feminist archeology book, a history of baseball, a novel set in Brooklyn, a short-story collection, and a collection of Greek love poetry.
