Number of years in this position: Two
Previous HR experience: Gray worked in healthcare recruiting for 10 years, and later as recruiting director for Ziff Davis.
Number of HR employees: 20 staffing people in the New York office, but HR is comprised of just Gray and one other individual. Google's Mountain View, California office (the main headquarters for the company) employs 40 HR professionals and "a few hundred" recruiters.
Role at Google: Gray handles all the HR and recruiting responsibilities for the advertising sales team, a group of around 400 people ...
