Background: Celebrating its 73rd anniversary this year, Glamour continues its long run as one of the industry's most successful women's magazines. Catering to modern readers with aspirational yet accessible lifestyles, editors at this glossy want to give readers information on how to live, look and feel their best. They do so by delivering fashion, beauty, sex, love and life, and health and fitness stories, as well as celebrity interviews and features.
Former articles editor Marina Khidekel, who edited health features and FOB, says editors want writers who can tap into the mindset of their readers: young women in their 20s and early 30s who look to Glamour for honest, surprising, newsworthy stories "that relate to their lives and engage them in a lively, cultural conversation."
