Portland's sassiest and brassiest media types convened in the Pearl District hot-spot Oba on a mild Wednesday night in February to drink and dish. Equal parts freelancer and staff folks, the group was nearly all new faces — with a few transplants from L.A. thrown in for good measure! — and included ladies and gents from the PR, newspaper, magazine, TV and academic worlds. (So much for the Rose City lingering in the shadow of its sister-city to the North!)
