Course Details

If you've ever found yourself blocked, stuck, stymied, plateaued, overwhelmed, unable to start (or finish anything) in your creative projects, this is the class for you. Join creativity coach and yoga teacher Barbara Benedict to discover how a yoga practice can help fuel your creative practice (and vice versa).

All-level vinyasa sequencing (including beginners) and in-class creative writing exercises (and maybe some drawing, too) combine to help get your creative juices flowing. Give your writing practice a jump-start by reconnecting with your creative muscles, and learn techniques to sustain a practice or untangle a knot. This class is designed for all creative seekers. Come explore how the challenges you may face in your creative process can gently stretch past limitations to a new level of inspiration on the mat.

Beginners welcome.

Please bring a mat and a journal with you to class if you have one. Mats are available upon request

Testimonials

Barbara Benedict was so much fun and very inspiring. I entered the class feeling stuck and down. Three hours later I felt lighter, more creative and ready to get down and get my hands dirty on that keyboard. -- Sophie Penkrat

"Barbara has that rare ability to encourage you to open up to your inner voice; to learn from within and explore the deeper level in a safe and nurturing environment." -- Peter Zehren
