Do you have a great idea for a blog? How do you make it stand out from all the others out there? Whether you're focusing on a specific genre, doing original reporting, or just want to write about what you ate for lunch, we'll talk about how to customize your blog to ensure success. From the technological aspects to the importance of self-promotion, we'll cover the keys to creating compelling posts, staying motivated and, most importantly, having fun.

We'll talk about what makes a good blog, show some examples, go over the tech stuff, and answer questions about blogging. We'll focus on your blog ideas, discussing questions and concerns as a group to help you formulate a plan to get started!

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • What makes a good blog concept
  • Which blogging software is right for you and why
  • Keys to good blog posts
  • How to stay on topic
  • How to promote your blog
