Obama's 100th Day Media Preview

UPDATED:

As you know, TODAY marks the President's first 100 days in office. FBDC has compiled a list of coverage, events and/or special reports for the event. We'll continue updating throughout the day so send us your organization's info and plans to be added to the mix.

Last Night

On ABC's "Nightline" at 11.35PM, White House correspondent Yunji de Nies looked at Michelle Obama's first 100 days.

Today

PRINT

Diageo and National Journal Group's The Hotline will mark President Obama's 100th day in office with a new Diageo/Hotline poll, conducted by FD. The results will be unveiled at an 8.30 AM breakfast for reporters, editors, columnists and bloggers at The Watergate.

The Washington Post is running a special print section to include a piece by veteran political journalist Dan Balz. Balz will discuss what can really be understood from a president's first 100 days and what kind of president Obama is becoming. WaPo's White House team will present key moments of the administration and decisions made so far. In addition, the section will offer a historical comparison of past U.S. president' accomplishments in their first 100 days.

TELEVISION

CNN National Report Card - First 100 Days: Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, John King and Soledad O'Brien will head up coverage and open up interactive voting on questions throughout the night. Anderson Cooper 360 Special - CNN National Report Card begins at 11pm.

ABC News will broadcast live coverage of the press conference. Charles Gibson will be joined by George Stephanopoulos and Jake Tapper.

PBS and The NewsHour will provide live coverage of the presser. Ray Suarez will anchor.

CNBC's Dennis Kneale will anchor coverage live from CNBC global headquarters in Engelwood Cliffs, NJ.

C-SPAN 2 will broadcast live from the prez's presser

Bloomberg will cover the conference live and feature commentary from Former McCain Advisor Douglas Holtz-Eakin and Laura Tyson, former Clinton White House Adviser.

MSNBC will follow the conference and the GOP response with special live editions of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" at 9PM, "The Rachel Maddow Show" at 10 PM, and "Hardball with Chris Matthews" at 11 PM.

Katie Couric will anchor for CBS News' Special Report.

NBC News' Brian Williams will anchor coverage on NBC. Williams will be joined by David Gregory and Chuck Todd.

ONLINE

HuffPo's 10 in 100: With a little help from some well-known political figures, HuffPo's Sam Stein compiled a list of the top ten most under-appreciated stories from the President's first 100 days in office. Find out what made the cut in the categories of health care, communications, education, transportation, cities, Muslim relations, Pakistan, cars, forests and tone by checking out HuffPo here.

ABC News Digital will feature text stories, video highlights and slideshows devoted to President Obama's first 100 days in office and ABC News NOW; co-anchored by Rick Klein and Yunji de Nies will stream live from the press conference.

CNN.com will host an interactive event for television viewers and online users to grade the President's first 100 days. Users will instantly be able to give their own letter grades during a brief window of time. Those real-time report cards will appear on-air and online.

CBS News will feature coverage from 9 -10 PM on their political Webcast Washington Unplugged followed by Katie Couric's Webcast at 10PM.

WaPo.com's special package will feature a roundtable discussion on Barack and Michelle Obama's first 100 days in the White House with Dan Balz, Michael Shear and DeNeen Brown. Robin Ghivan will offer commentary on a narrated photo gallery focused on Michelle Obama. The package will also offer an index quantifying how Obama spent his first 100 days in office and what was happening in the world around him.

TIME photographer Callie Shell documents the President's historic start on the job with a Photo Gallery: Behind the Scenes with Obama.

Tomorrow

SIRIUS XM Radio will broadcast "The Power Breakfast," a special edition of The Joe Madison Show on The Power, XM channel 169 on Thursday, April 30 starting at 6 am ET. XM listeners will hear live panel discussions with Rep. James Clyburn, Rep. John Conyers, Rep. Barney Frank, Rep. Charles Rangel, Rep. Bennie Thompson and Rep. Donald Payne.
