Editor and Publisher peeks inside operations at the Tribune Company's DC "Superbureau," which houses 107 journalists from the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, New York's Newsday, and six other Tribune papers.

Most reporters have good things to say about having everyone under the same roof, but the worry has always been that the cost cuts enjoyed by the consolidation would eventually lead to some cost-cutting layoffs (that and who the hell is going to pay for the gym towels?)
