FishbowlLA is a gossip weblog about L.A. media. It is written by Michael Sonnenschein and Claude Brodesser.

Michael Sonnenschein lives in Los Angeles, where he writes for television and contributes to LA Innuendo, a magazine and website about Southern California life and culture. He has never worked professionally as a journalist. However, he often goes to parties attended by journalists, at which he stands in the corner eating chips and watching these professional journalists move around the room. He hopes to bring this expertise to Fishbowl LA.

Claude Brodesser is the host of National Public Radio's The Business, a half-hour of thoughtful and irreverent dialogue with Hollywood's top deal-makers, filmmakers, moguls, artists, and agents that airs in Los Angeles, New York City, Detroit, and several other major markets. Claude spent the last seven years as a film reporter for Variety, covering motion picture production, artist representation and organized labor in Hollywood. He's currently a contributing writer to Los Angeles magazine, and has also written for Premiere magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and US Weekly.
