Big Government Has Us on Pins and Needles

Some Washington media outlets are loathe to give Conservative author and blogger Andrew Breitbart any serious credit in the latest sexless scandal involving Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.). But today, whatever his motives, Breitbart basks in some kind of glory as journalists trip over themselves on their way to BigGovernment.com for the latest bombshell.

All morning, Breitbart has been upping the ante, first with a shot of the congressman’s face that Weiner allegedly sent to a female admirer in May, then another of a fully clothed Weiner lounging on a sofa with a white kitty cat and now, the near-holy grail of glamor shots: the torso. As most readers who are following the parade of weird political scandals know, Rep. Chris Lee (R-N.Y.) resigned in February after a shirtless photograph of the married congressman surfaced on Craigslist.

Hell, even the ladies on CBS’s “The Talk,” which today includes Sharon Osbourne, are gabbing away about Weiner.
