TWT’s Dealey Ousted
BREAKING: Sources confirm that Sam Dealey, top editor at The Washington Times was fired this afternoon. Managing Editor Chris Dolan has been named acting editor in chief of the paper. Sources say TWT brass is embarking on a national search for a new head of editorial though it remains unclear what kind of talent the struggling paper can attract.
A knowledgeable source tells FishbowlDC that the news was shocking to Dealey. A memo to staff announcing the switch is expected to be released tomorrow.
