Buttry Backs Out of TBD

Employees are hanging onto deck chairs at this point on the TBD Titanic.

Cue up those violins. On the heels of the announcement of Editor Erik Wemple bolting to WaPo earlier this week comes another departure. It’s Community Engagement Director Steve Buttry. We hear Buttry will join former TBD GM Jim Brady at Journal Register Company.

We will personally and profoundly miss making Buttry the butt (pun intended) of some of our jokes. We trust that his dog Duffy will still enter our DogBowl contest this year. We wish Buttry all the best.
