Look out BuzzFeed Brews. There’s a new beer drinking news platform in town.
CNN and National Journal are joining forces to explore the midterm elections the best way possible…with a cold one in hand.
Dubbed “Politics on Tap,” the program will feature an interview by CNN’s Chief Washington Correspondent Jake Tapper and NJ’s Ron Fournier of Sen. John McCain followed by a panel discussion with CNN’s Peter Hamby NJ’s Michelle Cottle, and CNN’s Brianna Keilar on the growing divide in the Republican Party and how the changing face of the GOP and Congressional leadership may impact this November’s midterm elections.
Slated for next Thursday at Sixth Engine, the invite (which hasn’t gone out yet) is a steal in that a-the topic is definitely interesting and b-who doesn’t want to drink with this crowd. Only thing that could make it better is if Rep. Aaron Schock were involved.
We’ll be there, and hope to see you there, too!
See the invite – sans RSVP dets (sorry) – after the jump. Cheers!
