CNN’s Jake Tapper Explores ‘Why Won’t Washington Work’

featured_assetOn today’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper” on CNN, the host will launch his new series “Why Won’t Washington Work,” exploring seemingly simple solutions to problems that get bogged down in Washington red tape.

The series, expected to continue over the next several months, will kick off with a conversation between Tapper and USAID Administrator Dr. Rajiv Shah on “why a 1.5 billion dollar budget still isn’t enough to feed the world’s hungry.”

SPOILER: Because more than half the money goes to satisfying archaic rules about who and where the food can come from.

Check it out, today at 4pm, on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper.”
