Daily Caller’s Carlson to Politico’s Smith: ‘F–k You’!

The Daily Caller‘s Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson and Politico’s Ben Smith are are not bosom buddies these days – and that’s putting it mildly.

In a post on Sept. 27, Smith wrote that The Daily Caller is “struggling” to find its place and as a result is taking pot shots at the more established press such as National Review.

At last Carlson wrote to Smith in response (see below). Smith had no comment for FishbowlDC except to say, “Seems like his comment speaks for itself.” Smith confirmed that the word “f–k” was spelled out in its entirety.

UPDATE [October 6]: Carlson emails:
The Daily Caller is ‘struggling’? What a ludicrous hack job, and
stupid. F*** you.

> Update: When asked for comment, Carlson remarked, “I meant it with total sincerity.”
