Members of the media have a variety of methods for dealing with rampant online hatred gusting their way. Some ignore, some retweet, some engage, some block. See how Fox News’ Brit Hume handled an insult last night.
A little surprising he even engaged.
Funny enough, Hume employs a range of tactics for hate-filled followers.

“@brithume You are a corrupt NeoCon idiot.”
He replies and retweets.
To “Sherri” a conservative animal lover, he wrote simply, “OMG” after she wrote, “You had me until you called me a ‘fan’! I’m a Washington Redskins fan! I am a Ted Cruz supporter! How condescending!”
He poses questions.
This morning, he responded to “Gina” with a pointed question after she expressed a variety of thoughts on the GOP and Obama’s health care law. Among them: “Your passive ‘strategy’ to leave Obamacare to fail on its own is NOT OK. Real people suffer so GOP’s strategy can win seats?” And this…”Clearly, I want to fight anything that punishes Americans’ lives & livelihood.Obamacare enslaves us all to the govt.”
Hume asked Gina, “Would you kindly explain what in the world you are talking about?”
