An anti-Licoln ad from FlackCheck.org

The wacky folks at FlackCheck.org have made some comical political ads about the election of 1864, where Abraham Lincoln was challenged by former Commanding General of the Army George McClellan.

NERDS!

But, if you love the Civil War -and we do -they’re pretty entertaining. And if you don’t know anything about the deadliest war in American history, now’s a good time to learn! After all, it’s the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, and there’s all sorts of cool milestones to commemorate. Did you know for example, that 150 years ago today, Confederate General James Longstreet laid siege to Knoxville? And three years before that, the Georgia legislature appropriated $1,000,000 to arm the state against Federal “aggressors”? Gee Wiz!

This is our favorite political ad so far. Check em all out here, if you’re in to that sort of thing.
