Helena Andrews Joins Heil at WaPo’s R.S.

The Reliable Source has another new voice! Helena Andrews will join Emily Heil at R.S. starting in January, according to a statement from WaPo Style editor Frances Sellers. Helena has been at The Root most recently, where she writes a weekly pop culture column, and she has been a contributing editor of the online women’s magazine xoJane. She also chronicled her roaring late twenties in Washington, with a collection of essays “Bitch is the New Black,” published by HarperCollins in 2010.

Separately, it was announced that current R.S. columnist Roxanne Roberts will return to writing full-length feature stories for the Style section.
