After Two Months, Scarborough Finds Inspiration to Update His Sleepy Politico Blog
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has updated his personal blog at Politico following a two-month lull. Scarborough’s update prior to this evening was on Jun. 21. There wasn’t a single update in all of July.
Tonight, Scarborough writes on Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Todd Akin (Mo.) and the controversial “legitimate rape” comment he made on Sunday. Despite growing pressure from the GOP for Akin to withdraw from the race, he says he’s not going anywhere.
“If there is a cause worthy of losing the U.S. Senate and damaging Romney and Ryan’s chances against Barack Obama,” Scarborough writes, “I sure don’t see it.”
The post is exactly five sentences long. But at least Politico can say the blog is technically active.
