Morning Mistake: The Headlineless Headline

This morning’s grand flub goes to WaPo for this display of online editing skills. Perhaps the mistake on Eli Saslow‘s story can be excused away by the late hourĀ  — it was 12:18 a.m. when they published. Or perhaps not. A FishbowlDC reader reported the headline goof to WaPo on Sunday. As of 8 a.m. this morning, the headline is still not fixed. At this rate, prospects of this happening are sketchy. To see if they ever come up with a headline, visit here.

UPDATE: Miracles are happening all over the place today. WaPo finally got a headline slapped on their story. It is as follows: “DEFENDING THE FAITH With little money or support, Abdirizak Bihi is on a one-man missionto protect young Somali Americans from the lure of Islamist extremists.” Way to go WaPo!
