NYT’s Leibovich Signs with Simon & Schuster
As reported by Politico‘s Playbook:
“The NYT magazine’s Mark Leibovich, [who wrote that long tome on Politico's Mike Allen], has signed a deal with Simon & Schuster for a book about how modern Washington has perfected the culture of self-love and celebrity while the rest of the country is feeling increasingly alienated from the place. The editor is Priscilla Painton, the Time alumnus who edited former President Bush aide Karl Rove’s memoir.”
There is no working title. Expect it sometime in 2012.
