Tapper to Todd’s Defense
Strange interactions happen frequently on the campaign trail. Thank God Social Media ensures that no one misses out.
On Monday ABC’s Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper shared on Twitter, “Local boy at bakery telling girls about taking photo with @ChuckTodd. ‘I put my arm around his waist and he did not return the favor.’”
But when a follower tried to trash Todd, Tapper, a longtime friend, wasn’t having it. Beth Anne: “@jaketapper who wld want a pic w/Todd? Even worse…who would want his arm around them?”
Ouch.
Tapper replied to Beth Anne, saying, “He’s a great dude. Don’t bash him in my twitter feed.”
