TV Journo Huffs and Puffs
NBC’s Mike Viqueira was breathing heavily outside the White House this afternoon in an MSNBC live shot just moments ago. He explained why, saying he had been running to get there. The longtime journo got through a lengthy reporting segment on legislative matters, though not easily and not without eliciting reaction.
The male anchor ordered the silver-haired journo to come up for air. “Stop for a minute and take a breath, I don’t want people at home to think I’m trying to give you a heart attack,” he said semi-jokingly.
Viqueira obeyed. The anchor asked, “Speaking of laps are you going to run any later today?” Viqueira grinned and replied, “Believe it or not, I’m getting on a plane to Hawaii” to, of course, cover POTUS.
