VF Names Mike Allen to New Establishment List

Whoever thought Politico‘s Mike Allen and Justin Timberlake would share the same hemisphere? But here we are in the media twilight zone as Vanity Fair releases its 2011 New Establishment List.

The list “identifies the top 50 of an innovative new breed of buccaneering visionaries, engineering prodigies, and entrepreneurs—’The Age of Information gives way to a burgeoning Age of Technology,’” as VF Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter puts it.

Allen sails in at #39. Timberlake trails behind him at #50. Other notables: Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg (#1) Jay-Z (#21), Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert (#28), and Tyler Perry (#44).
