Compiling a New Frank Sinatra Dodgers Playlist

In case you missed it, the latest bit of Dodgers bankruptcy court madness involves none other than Frank Sinatra.

The dearly departed singer claimed season tickets when the team moved here from Brooklyn. Fifty-three years later, an attorney has thrown Old Blue Eyes’ estate hat into the Delaware ring as part of an unlikely move for some financial relief.

It’s been a while since FishbowlLA attended a Dodgers home game. Do they play any Frank on the PA system these days? Probably. But in light of this season’s disastrous divorce from sound baseball fundamentals, we think the following lesser known Sinatra songs should be moved to the top of the musical rotation:

“The Game is Over”
“There Used to Be a Ballpark”
“There’s a Chill on the Hill Tonight”
“What Time Does the Next Miracle Leave?”
“A Million Dreams Ago”
“Shake Down the Stars”
“Nobody Wins”
“It’s Over, It’s Over, It’s Over”
“I Guess I’ll Have to Dream the Rest”
“Don’t Make a Beggar of Me”
