Former LAT Sports Editor Hired by USA Today

Former Los Angeles Times deputy sports editor and Yahoo! Sports executive editor Dave Morgan was named senior vice president of content and editor-in-chief for the USA Today Sports Media Group.

Morgan left Yahoo! Sports in June after five years at the company.

He was so popular with his colleagues that several Yahoo! writers honored their departed boss by changing their Twitter avatar to a photo of Morgan.
