Hackariffic Day for LA Times Twitter Feeds

Yesterday was an exciting day for followers of LA Times journos and their Twitter feeds. And by exciting we mean fairly chaotic. First, Pulitzer Prize winner Ruben Vives had his Twitter account hacked.

Then the LA Times Readers Representative feed posted this random Twitpic of a minivan:

Could it be? Two Twitter hacks in one day. We emailed both reader representative Deirdre Edgar and LA Times communications rep Nancy Sullivan to see what was going on. We got our response on Twitter just moments ago.

Hacked by a toddler! Could be a new trend. Better keep that one away from WikiLeaks for the foreseeable future.
