One of the best things about Hispanicize, the second annual Hispanic PR and social media conference taking place April 6th-8th at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood, is that it shines a light on the myriad of Hispanic bloggers.

For some, like Catalina Juarez, a.k.a. @CatalinainLA, the conference commute will be a short one. She has not one but two blogs: the namesake Catalina in LA, an insider’s travel view of La-la land; and Greenery in Mommyhood, which commingles family living with environmental concerns.

There are enough Latino and Latina bloggers for one of the conference attendees to be largely all about that. Monique Frausto makes it her business, along with writing about fashion, beauty and lifestyle matters, to keep tabs on the thousands of citizen journalistas via Blogs by Latinas and LA Latina Bloggers.
