LA Times Drops More Comic Strips

Earlier this month the LA Times said goodbye to comics “Cathy” and “Rex Morgan, M.D.” Now there are two more departures from the comics page: “Home and Away” and “Brewster Rockit: Space Guy!” In their place will be more advertising.

The LAT Reader’s Representative put a positive spin on things, letting readers know that the Newspaper’s website now features an assortment of comics previously only available in the print edition. So if you comic strip lovers have the interwebs, you’ve nothing to complain about.

Unless you read “Home and Away,” which won’t be available on the LAT website either. We understand the Ukiah Daily Journal still carries it.
