Taraji P. Henson Not Happy About TV Guide Snub

Actress Taraji P. Henson is one of the co-stars of Person of Interest, CBS’s new crime drama that debuts this Thursday.

But based on the upcoming TV Guide cover from this week, you wouldn’t know that Henson was the leading lady on the show. The magazine decided not to feature her on the cover alongside her two male co-stars in Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson.

Henson took to her Facebook account in order to vent about the snub:

“WOW!!!! TV Guide is NOT including me on the cover with my cast memebers [sic]……..I am the female lead of a 3 member cast and I’m not included on the cover!!!!!! Do you see the shit I have to deal with in this business…..I cram to understand!!!!”

According to TheGrio.com, TV Guide has not released a statement as to why Henson was snubbed.

Unfortunately for Henson, this is a prime example of the hurdles black actresses face in Hollywood.
