Today Alec Baldwin allegedly punched a New York Daily News photographer. The incident occurred outside the Marriage License Bureau. Then, because Baldwin is nothing if not annoying, he took to Twitter to explain the event in his own odd way.

We’re sure getting hounded by the press because you’re rich and famous for playing pretend on TV is horrible. But torture? Perhaps a bit extreme.

Ah, the classic “call a man a woman because women are weak” attack. Well played!

Bringing the Trayvon Martin tragedy into this is wrong, stupid, ignorant and oh yes, stupid. Baldwin might want to ask his brothers (not Stephen, he ceased to be a reliable source of information once he agreed to star in Bio-Dome) for advice before tweeting about current events — or anything — ever again.
