DeadlineHollywood has an exclusive story that’s too hot to handle. One of David Geffen’s pals , former NY Times writer Bernie Weinraub, will have his first play produced off-Broadway. That’s nice, isn’t it? Weintraub’s wife, Amy Pascal, runs Sony Pictures.

And, in a non-related story, hunky actor Matt Dillon has dumped his agency, Endeavor. Considering he didn’t get much bounce out of an Oscar nomination for Crash, no one’s too shocked. Speculation abounds that he’ll go to CAA.
