HuffPo Responds to Rupert Murdoch’s Criticisms

Politico reports that, at least for now, The Huffington Post is winning its feud with Rupert Murdoch. The battle between the two was sparked by Murdoch, who  — during his testimony — called out HuffPo, saying the site was “mainly just stealing stories from existing newspapers.”

Quite a nice jab by Murdoch. Too bad HuffPo’s Executive Editor, Tim O’Brien, countered with a vicious knockout blow. He emailed Politico the following:

I know that Rupert’s having a hard time remembering everything these days — as the Leveson inquiry shows — but we are busily and happily employing and deploying over 400 journalists, and we recently won a Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting, so I’d like to invite him to drop by our newsroom sometime for a visit.

Even Manny Pacquiao is jealous of that left hook.
