The Folio: Summit is going on right now in Chicago (FULL DISCLOSURE: I was a senior editor at Folio: from 2004-2006) and I'm actually a little bummed I couldn't make it this year. Three days of milling around some interesting publishers and aspiring ones, stellar food and too many free magazines to fit in a carry-on.

One publisher who didn't make it this year, though, was Vice co-founder Gavin McInnes — he of the unironically cool facial hair — whom I wrote about in Folio: awhile back. He was asked to be on an entrepreneurial panel at the show. He was interested. Only his demands were, let's say, a tad Van Halen-ish (circa 1984) for the Folio: crowd. And he took their hesitation none too kindly:
